Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. If you have a UPDA grade (B or A), minimum 10 years of experience (with at least 3 years in Qatar), and possess a Qatar Driving License, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Conduct equipment and breaker sizing, cable sizing, panel schedule creation, cable schedule management, cable tray sizing and layout, and conduit pipe sizing and layout.
Prepare electrical material submittals and material schedules.
Develop spreadsheets for electrical load schedules and perform take-offs and create BOQ/BOM based on consultant drawings.
Generate electrical shop drawings.
Coordinate with site supervisors, resolve technical queries during the construction phase, and supervise the erection and installation of electrical components such as transformers, PCC/PMCC, junction boxes, cable trays, conduits, instrument panels, control room panels, system cabinets, and cable laying.
Plan, supervise, and execute the installation of electrical and instrument cables, including MV/LV, control, signal, F&G, and fiber optic cables.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly the Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policy.
Perform other duties as reasonably required.

Requirements:

UPDA grade (B or A).
Minimum 10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience in Qatar.
Valid Qatar Driving License.
