Position: Electrical Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Experience: 7–10 Years of UAE Experience

Approval: DEWA Approved / DEWA Project Experience

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Electrical Engineer with 7–10 years of relevant UAE experience and strong exposure to DEWA-approved projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical works, ensuring compliance with DEWA regulations and approved drawings, and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage electrical installation and project execution activities.

  • Ensure all electrical works comply with DEWA regulations, approved drawings, specifications, and UAE standards.

  • Review electrical drawings, load schedules, specifications, and technical documents.

  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, DEWA representatives, and other project stakeholders.

  • Monitor project progress, quality, and timely completion of electrical works.

  • Conduct site inspections and ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to electrical works.

  • Prepare and maintain technical reports, inspection requests, and project documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements on site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • 7–10 years of relevant UAE experience in electrical engineering.

  • DEWA approval or proven experience working on DEWA-approved projects is mandatory.

  • Strong knowledge of DEWA regulations, electrical codes, and UAE construction standards.

  • Experience in electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and project supervision.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.

  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

  • Candidates currently available in the UAE will be preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant electrical engineering software.

  • Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems and building/project services.

  • Good understanding of project documentation and authority approval procedures.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
