The Company
Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy supporting the mining, energy, power generation and industrial sectors across Australia.
Their approach is practical, collaborative and client-focused. Engineers are encouraged to take ownership, understand the bigger picture and build strong relationships with the clients they support.
Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong Hazardous Areas capability who also enjoys the broader client and project side of engineering.
The Opportunity
You’ll provide specialist Hazardous Area expertise while working directly with clients, collaborating across disciplines and helping solve practical engineering challenges.
There is genuine flexibility around what the role can become. You may want to remain technically focused, move into leadership, mentor others, become more involved with clients or help grow the Hazardous Areas capability within the business.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver Hazardous Area design, classification and engineering solutions

Work directly with clients to understand requirements and solve problems

Take ownership of engineering work from scope through to delivery

Collaborate across engineering disciplines

Support project scoping, estimating and delivery

Mentor and share knowledge with other engineers

Contribute to the growth of the Hazardous Areas capability

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering is required, with RPEQ highly regarded

Mining, resources, power generation, energy or heavy industry experience would be advantageous.
