Electrical Engineer

• Electrical Engineer ensures the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and control systems. Oversee compliance with local building codes, conduct inspections, troubleshoot electrical issues, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

What you will be doing

• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate electrical systems into the project.

• Conduct inspections to verify adherence to local building codes.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of electrical components.

• Identify and resolve electrical system defects and recommend corrective actions.

• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and project progress.

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.

• Prepare reports on electrical system performance and compliance.

• Provide technical guidance on electrical designs and site challenges.

• Review and approve electrical materials and equipment for site installation.

• Supervise system testing, grounding, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance.

• Verify that electrical systems meet operational and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills

• Strong written and verbal communication

Required Experience

• 10 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering.

• Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and electrical design.

• Practical experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.
