Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Procurement

Location: UAE

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer – Procurement to manage the procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and services for MEP, industrial, and EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for electrical materials and equipment.

  • Source reliable suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.

  • Evaluate technical and commercial offers in coordination with engineering and project teams.

  • Prepare comparison statements and recommend suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery.

  • Issue purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery.

  • Coordinate with project, engineering, and warehouse teams to meet project schedules.

  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications.

  • Resolve procurement-related issues and maintain accurate procurement records.

  • Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE.

  • Experience in MEP, EPC, industrial, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical materials, switchgear, cables, lighting, transformers, panels, and related systems.

  • Familiarity with UAE supplier and vendor networks.

  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP procurement systems.

  • Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and work under tight deadlines.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
