Job Description

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for electrical design, project planning, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role ensures that all electrical works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable UAE regulations, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Project Planning

  • Prepare electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Review technical documents, project requirements, and approved drawings.

  • Perform electrical load calculations and system sizing.

2. Installation & Commissioning

  • Supervise electrical installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.

  • Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems.

  • Coordinate system handover and prepare the required documentation.

3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and equipment failures.

  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.

4. Safety, Quality & Coordination

  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, UAE regulations, and safety requirements.

  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks.

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and other engineering teams.

  • Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and project documentation.

  • Ensure electrical works meet the required quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 3–4 years of UAE experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the interior fit-out or construction industry.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant electrical design software.

  • Good knowledge of UAE building codes, electrical regulations, and applicable standards.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
