Electrical Engineer – Switchgear Operations & Sales

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee LV/MV switchgear, MCCs, MDBs, control panels and related electrical systems.

• Review electrical drawings, BOQs, specifications and technical requirements

• Review technical/commercial quotations, tenders and costing

• Develop new customers and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, developers and end users

• Lead technical sales, business development, customer meetings and negotiations

• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve agreed sales and profitability targets

• Ensure compliance with Kahramaa requirements and applicable Qatar electrical standards

• Support management in improving operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and business growth

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering - Mandatory

• Valid UPDA registration/certification - Mandatory

• Valid Kahramaa certification/approval/registration - Mandatory

• 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Qatar

• Strong practical experience i electrical switchgear, control panels and power distribution

• Proven experience in technical sales, tendering and business development

• Good knowledge of the Qatar electrical market and Kahramaa requirements

• Strong communication, negotiation and customer-management skills

• Qatar diving license is preferred.

Important: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and valid UPDA registration/certification. Relevant Kahramaa certifications/approval/registration is also required.

Pay: From QAR1.00 per month
