Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi. The Electrical Engineer will design, review, and implement electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems. Daily responsibilities include preparing drawings and specifications, performing load calculations, coordinating with project managers, site teams, and other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and local regulations. The role involves participating in site inspections, resolving technical issues during construction, and supporting testing and commissioning activities. The Electrical Engineer will also assist in preparing technical reports, supporting tender submissions, and providing input to cost estimates and project schedules.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity principles.

• Candidates should possess experience with Electrical Design for building and infrastructure projects.

• Candidates should possess knowledge of Power Distribution systems and related equipment.

• Candidates should possess expertise in Power Systems analysis and coordination.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

• Relevant experience in construction or electromechanical contracting, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.

• Familiarity with international and local electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, BS, UAE regulations).

• Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar) and MS Office tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
