Electrical Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate electrical installation activities at project sites. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, site supervision experience, and the ability to ensure that electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works at the project site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.

• Review electrical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents and coordinate with other disciplines as required.

• Monitor site progress and ensure electrical works are completed according to project schedules and quality requirements.

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and other site teams to resolve technical and construction-related issues.

• Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes.

• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, inspection requests, progress reports, and other required project documentation.

• Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.

• Identify site issues, technical discrepancies, and potential delays and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.

• Ensure all electrical works are carried out in accordance with HSE requirements and safety procedures.

• Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely availability of materials, manpower, tools, and equipment.

• Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress, technical matters, and outstanding works.

• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical site engineering and supervision.

• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.

• Experience working on construction, MEP, commercial, residential, or industrial projects.

• Good knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and HSE requirements.

• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and site management skills.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred.

• GCC/Qatar experience is preferred.
