Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join our MEP contracting team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating and executing electrical installation works at construction sites in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily electrical site installation works.

  • Execute electrical works according to approved shop drawings and project specifications.

  • Supervise the installation of cable trays, trunking, conduits, wiring, cables, distribution boards, lighting fixtures and power outlets.

  • Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing and other MEP teams to avoid site conflicts.

  • Monitor manpower, materials and site progress to meet project deadlines.

  • Prepare daily progress reports and coordinate with the project manager and main contractor.

  • Review shop drawings and coordinate technical issues with the consultant and main contractor.

  • Ensure electrical works comply with approved drawings, quality standards and safety requirements.

  • Arrange inspections with consultants and coordinate testing and commissioning activities.

  • Prepare material requests, inspection requests and other site documentation.

  • Identify site issues and implement corrective actions as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant electrical site experience in building construction or MEP contracting.

  • UAE experience is preferred.

  • Good knowledge of electrical installations, drawings, BOQ and project specifications.

  • Experience coordinating with main contractors, consultants and other MEP disciplines.

  • Knowledge of UAE electrical regulations and authority requirements.

  • Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage site teams and meet project deadlines.

  • Immediate joining is preferred.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
