ELV Pre-Sales Engineer | Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Documentation

• Develop and deliver design solutions for a wide range of ELV systems, including but not limited to CCTV, Active & Passive Network, Access Control Systems (ACS), Queue Management Solutions, Fire Alarm, BMS, Lighting Control Systems (LCS), Public Address (PA), Audio Visual (AV), Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS), Digital Signage, and IPTV.

• Prepare detailed design drawings, technical submittals, material submittals, system specifications, calculations, BOQs, and tender documents.

• Perform technical calculations, including UPS power calculations, storage calculations, network calculations, and other system-related calculations as required.

• Review project requirements, specifications, drawings, and tender documents to develop appropriate technical solutions.

• Prepare and update technical documentation based on project requirements, design changes, and feedback from the Qatar-based team.

Coordination:

• Coordinate remotely with Qatar-based Pre-Sales, Sales, Project, Installation, and Procurement teams to support project and tender requirements.

• Participate in online design progress meetings, technical discussions, and coordination sessions.

• Provide technical support and clarification to project and installation teams during project execution.

• Review feedback received from the site team and revise drawings or technical documents where required.

• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and technical partners to obtain product information, technical specifications, and required documentation.

Authority Liaison:

• Communicate with Local Authority Departments, including the Ministry of Interior, to follow up approval processes and secure the necessary documentation at all project stages.

• Follow up on approvals and ensure all submissions comply with industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications

:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.

• Min 3 -5 years Proven experience in MOI CCTV projects & ELV system Design in multiple scale projects in Qatar.

• Strong technical proficiency, including the ability to perform complex design calculations.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the confidence to liaise with the authorities.

• Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval processes.
