We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who can help ensure these systems are reliable, scalable, and ready for deployment in demanding industrial environments.
About the Role
As an SDET, you will work closely with our software developers, product teams, and engineers to build and maintain automated testing frameworks and ensure the quality of our software platforms. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who understands both software development and quality engineering and enjoys identifying problems before they reach production. You will test web applications, APIs, backend services, databases, integrations, and systems that interact with industrial equipment and IoT devices.
What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites.

Build automated tests for web applications, APIs, backend services, and system
integrations.

Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing.

Develop reusable automation scripts and tools to improve testing efficiency.

Validate data flowing between applications, databases, APIs, IoT devices, and external systems.

Test complex workflows within industrial yard, warehouse, material tracking, and
automation applications.

Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track software defects through resolution.

Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and determine root causes.

Participate in requirements, architecture, and design reviews to ensure applications are
testable from the beginning.

Help integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Perform API testing and validate application integrations.

Conduct load and performance testing for critical applications and services.

Help improve application monitoring, logging, alerting, and overall system reliability.

Track testing coverage, defects, and release readiness.

Support testing of software releases before deployment to customer environments.
What We're Looking For
- Recent Graduate with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology,
or a related technical field.

Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.

Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.

Programming or scripting experience with Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or
similar languages.
- Experience with automation/testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Jest,
JUnit, PyTest, Postman, REST Assured, or similar technologies.

Experience with SQL and validating data within relational databases.

Understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, middleware, and distributed
applications.

Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD environments.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with software developers and cross-functional
engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with any of the following is a plus:

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
