Estimation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing project requirements, preparing BOQs and cost estimates, obtaining quotations, and supporting tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.

• Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.

• Estimate material, equipment, manpower, and installation costs.

• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions.

• Coordinate with Projects, Procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors.

• Identify discrepancies, exclusions, and additional requirements in tender documents.

• Prepare cost comparison and estimation sheets.

• Assist with variations, additional works, and project cost evaluations.

• Maintain proper records of estimates, quotations, and tender documents.

• Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within required deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in estimation, preferably in the UAE.

• Strong experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, costing, and tender estimation.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• UAE experience is preferred.

• UAE driving license is an advantage.

• Candidates available in the UAE and able to join immediately are preferred.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Package: AED 4,000 – 6,500, depending on experience and qualifications.
