Estimation Engineer - Mechanical (UPDA & QCDD)

Position Details:

Job Title: Estimation Engineer (Mechanical)
Department: Estimation / Projects
Specialization: Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Systems
Location: Doha

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of cost estimates for fire alarm and fire fighting systems
Quantity take-off from drawings and tender documents
Preparation of BOQ and technical/commercial proposals
Coordination with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations
Assisting in tender submissions and documentation
Reviewing specifications and compliance requirements
Conducting site visits and site inspections as required

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Preferably QCD Certified Engineer (Trainee)
1–3 years of experience in estimation, preferably in fire protection systems
Basic knowledge of relevant standards (NFPA/QCD)
Proficiency in MS Office and estimation tools
Experience in AutoCAD for reviewing drawings
Good communication and coordination skills

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
