Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and estimation requirements.

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for Architectural, Interior Fit-out, Sports Facilities, and sports-related products.

• Obtain, evaluate, and compare quotations from suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.

• Calculate material, labor, equipment, installation, and subcontractor costs.

• Coordinate with project, design, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure accurate estimates.

• Identify value engineering and cost optimization opportunities while maintaining quality and functionality.

• Maintain updated cost databases, supplier rates, and historical pricing information.

• Review and update estimates during bidding, tendering, and negotiation stages.

• Support the preparation of competitive and commercially viable project proposals.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in estimation, with strong experience in Architectural, Interior Fit-out, Sports Facilities, or related construction/product solutions.

• GCC experience is mandatory.

• Strong experience in cost estimation, tendering and bidding process.

Technical Skills :

• Proficient in performing precise quantity take-offs from architectural drawings.

• Skilled in building detailed cost models for labor, materials, and logistics.

• Experienced in preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender submissions.

• Competent in using digital estimation software like Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or CostX. Able to navigate AutoCAD and Revit to extract project dimensions.

• Advanced in utilizing Excel functions to manage large cost databases.

• Knowledgeable in technical standards for sports flooring, seating, and equipment.

• Adept at using value engineering to find reliable, cost-saving alternatives.

• Detail oriented, follow work instructions, organized, with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of local construction regulations and codes is preferred.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact with suppliers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

• Good organizational and time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼8,000.00 - ﷼10,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Cost Estimation: 8 years (Required)
