Estimator / Tendering Engineer (Remote)

Job Summary

We are seeking an Estimator / Tendering Engineer to join our contracting and construction company on a remote-work basis.

The candidate will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions for new building projects, supporting the company’s business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering or Quantity Surveying.

• Minimum 5 years of estimating or tendering experience in building construction.

• Strong knowledge of construction costs, unit rate build-up and market prices in Saudi Arabia.

• Experience in subcontractor and supplier quotation analysis.

• Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD; estimating software is an advantage.

• Ability to work independently in a remote work environment and meet tender deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Study tender documents, drawings and specifications and identify risks and clarifications.

• Prepare quantity take-offs and unit rate build-ups for tender BOQs.

• Request, compare and analyze quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.

• Prepare cost estimates, pricing summaries and tender submissions.

• Propose value-engineering alternatives where appropriate.

• Maintain a cost database of rates and recent prices.

• Support the handover of awarded projects to the execution team.
