Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or five (5) years experience in related positions. Equivalencies may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

Maintain financial records for active and completed capital projects, analyze account transactions to ensure proper allocation of funding and expenses, and perform year-end reviews to verify expenditures are properly accrued and capitalized. Utilize AssetWorks Capital Planning and Project Management software to plan, budget, and track facility and infrastructure projects.

Serve as the departmental liaison for procurement card activities within Facilities Planning and Management. Review transactions for accuracy, upload supporting documentation, and maintain records for audit purposes.

Initiate, record and monitor blanket purchase orders, purchase orders, and expenditures for capital projects and departmental operations.

Prepare work order and chargeback files and upload transactions into general ledger. Coordinate information for annual budget development, monitor budget-to-actual results, provide monthly reports to the Facilities Planning and Management Director, and request departmental budget transfers as needed.

SC State Pay Grade: GEN08
. Salary range: $45,300.00 (midpoint) – $61,100.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices; knowledge of accounts payable and procurement policies. Ability to work with numbers accurately. Ability to interpret and apply accounting procedures and regulations to Facilities Planning and Management procurement and spending.
