Financial Accountant / Financial Research Analys

Role Description

We are looking for a Financial Accountant / Financial Research Analyst to support financial reporting, accounting operations, market research, and financial data analysis. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, evaluating financial performance, analyzing market trends, and preparing reports that support business planning and informed financial decision-making. The successful candidate will contribute to financial accuracy, analytical insights, and effective financial management.

Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, reconciling financial transactions, monitoring expenses, and supporting monthly and annual financial reporting activities. The role also involves reviewing invoices, tracking payments, assisting with budget preparation, and ensuring that financial records comply with relevant accounting standards and internal procedures. For financial research activities, responsibilities include collecting financial and economic data, analyzing company performance, monitoring market developments, and evaluating industry trends. The role may also involve reviewing financial statements, comparing financial indicators, supporting valuation analysis, and preparing research summaries to identify potential risks and opportunities. The successful candidate will collaborate with finance, accounting, investment, and management teams to verify data accuracy, communicate findings, and support strategic decisions. Additional responsibilities include maintaining financial documentation, preparing analytical presentations, monitoring key performance indicators, supporting audit activities, and identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Financial Management, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, bookkeeping, and financial analysis.

• Knowledge of financial statements, general ledger management, account reconciliation, budgeting, and expense monitoring.

• Understanding of financial markets, economic indicators, company valuation concepts, and investment research methodologies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for financial calculations, data analysis, and report preparation.

• Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, financial databases, or analytical platforms.

• Ability to collect, organize, interpret, and validate financial data from multiple sources.

• Understanding of applicable accounting standards, internal financial controls, and confidentiality requirements.

• Strong numerical, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail when reviewing financial transactions, calculations, reports, and supporting documentation.

• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple financial and research tasks accurately.
