About the company

An early-stage, venture-backed AI startup bringing AI agents to the home services industry — helping large operators (roofing, HVAC, and similar trades) automate scheduling, dispatch, and customer engagement.

The company is already generating real, substantial revenue for enterprise clients and is actively raising its Series A, with a small, tight-knit founding team. \The role You'll be the critical liaison between customers and the product organization, embedded directly with enterprise home services operators running large, complex businesses.

This is a genuinely dual role: you'll build and deploy AI agents (voice, text, phone) hands-on, and you'll own the customer relationship end-to-end — this is not a role for someone who wants to write code in isolation, and it's not a role for someone who wants to be purely customer-facing with no technical ownership. \What you'll do\

• Build and deploy AI agents (voice, text, phone) for enterprise home services customers

• Own customer relationships end-to-end, acting as the primary point of contact for implementation, onboarding, and ongoing success

• Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and design to translate customer pain points into platform improvements

• Handle post-sales implementation and customer success work, driving customer satisfaction and account expansion

• Collaborate directly with founders and team leads to help shape the product roadmap

\What you must bring\

• 1–5 years of experience as a forward deployed engineer or customer-facing software engineer

• Demonstrated experience shipping production code in a customer-facing engineering role

• Strong Python and SQL skills, comfort with REST APIs, and working frontend experience (React, TypeScript, Node.js)

• Genuine comfort being highly customer-facing, including presenting directly to C-level executives

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a STEM field

• Based in or willing to relocate to New York City, with the ability to work on-site five days a week in Flatiron

• Previous founder or founding engineer (0-to-1) experience

• Genuine interest in building AI for the home services, construction, or remodeling industries

• $170K–$230K base salary plus competitive equity
