English Language Private School (ELPS), Dubai, invites applications from qualified, enthusiastic and committed French Teachers for current and future teaching opportunities.

We are seeking educators with strong French language proficiency, effective classroom practices and the ability to inspire students to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing French.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated French lessons aligned with the British curriculum.

• Develop students' French language proficiency across appropriate year groups.

• Prepare students for GCSE/IGCSE French examinations, where applicable.

• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and implement targeted interventions.

• Maintain high expectations for student achievement, behaviour and engagement.

• Contribute to curriculum development, departmental collaboration and school improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in French, French Language, French Studies or a relevant subject qualification appropriate to the teaching position.

• Recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent).

• Strong written and spoken proficiency in French.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver effective language instruction and manage diverse classrooms.

• Ability to meet applicable KHDA teacher appointment and safeguarding requirements.

• Willingness to complete mandatory document verification, professional reference checks and pre-employment due diligence.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant school teaching experience.

• Experience teaching French within the British curriculum.

• Familiarity with Pearson Edexcel or Cambridge GCSE/IGCSE French specifications.

• Experience teaching French at Primary and/or Secondary level.

• Previous experience in a UAE or international school.

Candidates with strong subject knowledge and recognised teaching qualifications are encouraged to apply even if they have limited British curriculum experience.

All appointments are conditional upon satisfactory completion of due diligence, verification of qualifications and documents, and applicable KHDA approval prior to joining.
