About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and passionate French Teacher to join our British curriculum school in Dubai.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging French lessons, develop students' language proficiency and contribute to high standards of teaching, learning and achievement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated French lessons across relevant year groups.

• Develop students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

• Prepare students for GCSE/IGCSE French examinations, where applicable.

• Assess student progress and provide effective feedback.

• Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.

• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in French, French Language, French Studies or a relevant subject qualification.

• Recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent).

• Strong written and spoken French proficiency.

• Effective classroom management and differentiated teaching skills.

• Eligibility to meet applicable KHDA teacher appointment requirements.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant school teaching experience.

• British curriculum teaching experience.

• Familiarity with Pearson Edexcel or Cambridge GCSE/IGCSE French.

• Experience teaching Primary and/or Secondary students.

• UAE or international school experience is an advantage.

Documentation Requirements

Candidates should be prepared to provide academic qualifications, transcripts, teaching certifications, experience letters, professional references and relevant safeguarding documentation.

Selection Process

Shortlisted applicants may be invited for an interview, teaching demonstration and document verification.

All appointments are subject to satisfactory safeguarding checks, completion of mandatory documentation and applicable KHDA approval.
