Role Description

The Front End Flutter Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile and web user interfaces using Flutter and related technologies in a full-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive UI components, integrating front-end features with back-end services and APIs, and ensuring smooth performance across platforms and devices. The engineer will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate user and business requirements into intuitive interfaces aligned with Odenn Impact’s mission-driven products. Additional responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, participating in code reviews, optimizing for accessibility and usability, and contributing to ongoing improvements in the engineering and product development process.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in languages commonly used with Flutter (e.g., Dart).

• Experience in Software Development practices, including version control, testing, debugging, and documentation.

• Familiarity with Back-End Web Development and API integration to connect front-end Flutter applications with server-side services.

• Hands-on experience building production-ready Flutter applications for mobile and/or web, including state management and performance optimization.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, communicating clearly with cross-functional teams.

• Understanding of UI/UX best practices, accessibility, and responsive design.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Interest in impact-driven ventures and alignment with Odenn Impact’s mission to combine profit and purpose.
