Frontend Developer / Backend Developer

Role Description

We are looking for a Frontend Developer / Backend Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize web applications that deliver reliable functionality, strong performance, and an excellent user experience. The role involves collaborating with designers, software engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while maintaining code quality, application security, and system reliability.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining web application components, implementing new features, troubleshooting technical issues, and improving existing systems. For frontend development, responsibilities include building responsive user interfaces, implementing interactive features, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and optimizing website accessibility and performance. For backend development, responsibilities include designing server-side logic, developing APIs, managing databases, integrating external services, and ensuring efficient data processing. The role also involves conducting code reviews, testing application functionality, identifying and resolving bugs, and maintaining technical documentation. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, evaluate implementation approaches, and ensure that applications meet functional and performance expectations. Additional responsibilities include using version control systems, supporting deployment processes, monitoring application performance, implementing security best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance software quality, scalability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of software development principles, programming concepts, and web application architecture.

• For frontend development, proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with familiarity with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• For backend development, knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, C#, or similar technologies.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs, database design, data structures, and application integration.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.

• Knowledge of responsive web design, application performance optimization, and secure coding practices.

• Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and collaborative software development tools.

• Understanding of software testing, debugging techniques, and code quality standards.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization tools is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, logical-thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A proactive mindset with an interest in modern development technologies, scalable applications, and continuous technical improvement.
