We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Frontend Developer to join our vibrant tech team and grow with us!

We are seeking an entry- to mid-level Front-End Developer / Web Designer to join our development team. This role combines strong visual design skills with hands-on HTML and CSS development, with a focus on creating polished, responsive websites and user interfaces.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in our Rye Brook, NY office. The schedule is three days per week in the office and two days working remotely. Candidates should be comfortable working in person, collaborating with developers and other team members, discussing design ideas, receiving feedback, and working through projects as a team.

A portfolio is required. All applicants must provide a link to a portfolio demonstrating relevant web design and front-end work.

What You’ll Work On

  • Test layouts across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.

  • Troubleshoot CSS, responsiveness, and rendering issues.

  • Collaborate with developers and other team members throughout the design and implementation process.

  • Use Git to manage code changes and collaborate on projects.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Flexbox and CSS Grid.

  • Experience working with and improving existing websites and codebases.

  • Familiarity with browser developer tools and front-end debugging.

  • Basic JavaScript familiarity.

  • Experience with Git or similar version control tools.

This Role Is a Good Fit For Someone Who

  • Enjoys both designing websites and building them directly in HTML and CSS.

  • Can work from rough ideas rather than requiring a completed mockup for every project.

  • Enjoys improving existing websites as well as creating new designs.

  • Is comfortable discussing ideas, receiving feedback, and refining work through multiple iterations.

  • Enjoys working collaboratively with a team in an office environment.

  • Can also work independently and communicate clearly about progress, questions, and blockers.

Additional Strengths

  • Experience with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools.

  • Experience with design systems or reusable UI components.

  • Familiarity with accessibility and basic SEO principles.

  • Experience working with PHP-based websites or dynamically generated templates.

  • Familiarity with React or other modern front-end frameworks.

  • JavaScript experience beyond basic front-end implementation.

About the Position
