Role Description

The Frontend Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining user-facing features of PPLIED’s web platform, ensuring a smooth, accessible, and intuitive experience for recruiters and job seekers. Day-to-day tasks include implementing responsive UI components, collaborating with product and design teams to refine user flows, and integrating frontend code with backend APIs. The role involves optimizing performance, debugging issues, and maintaining high standards for code quality, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. This is a full-time remote role, requiring effective communication, reliable time management, and comfort working with a distributed team.

Qualifications

Strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar), HTML, and CSS.
Experience with Responsive Web Design and creating mobile-first, cross-browser compatible interfaces.
Solid understanding of Web Development fundamentals, including RESTful APIs, version control (e.g., Git), and build tools.
Familiarity with Software Development best practices, such as testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
Basic knowledge of Back-End Web Development concepts for effective collaboration with backend engineers.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Experience building scalable, user-centric products in a startup or fast-paced setting is a plus.
