About the Role:

Naya is conducting a search on behalf of a

growing AI company

building technology around large-scale audio data and AI model development.

We are looking for a

Frontend Software Engineer

to build polished, intuitive web applications that support data collection and audio-data workflows. You will work closely with engineers, researchers, and operations teams to turn product and research requirements into reliable production software.

This role is a strong fit for a frontend engineer who enjoys working on technically challenging products, cares about performance and user experience, and is comfortable moving quickly in an early-stage environment.

What You'll Do:

Build and ship production-quality frontend applications using

TypeScript, React, and Next.js

.
Develop responsive, performant interfaces for complex, data-intensive workflows.
Build interfaces that support large-scale audio data collection and processing.
Develop customer-facing experiences that interact with

AI, LLM, and DSP-based capabilities

.
Work closely with research and operations teams to build and deploy new data-collection interfaces.
Take ownership of frontend features from initial implementation through production release and iteration.
Improve application performance, reliability, usability, and maintainability as the product scales.
Collaborate with backend engineers and work with APIs and services built with

Node.js

.
Contribute to frontend architecture, technical decisions, and engineering best practices.
Stay current with modern frontend technologies and apply them where they improve the product.

What We're Looking For:

2+ years of professional software engineering experience

, with a strong focus on frontend development.
Strong hands-on experience with

TypeScript, React, and Next.js

.
Experience building and shipping

production web applications

.
Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component design, responsive development, and web performance.
Experience working with APIs and backend services.
Ability to build polished interfaces while maintaining strong engineering practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to product quality.
Ability to work effectively with engineers, researchers, product teams, and operations teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and requirements can evolve quickly.

Nice to Have:

Experience working on

AI/ML, LLM, or data-intensive products

audio, speech, or digital signal processing

applications.
Experience building interfaces for large datasets or data-processing workflows.

Tailwind CSS

Compensation:

Base Salary:

$175,000–$225,000 annually

Equity:

Competitive equity package

The final compensation package will be determined based on relevant experience, technical expertise, and overall scope of the role.
