Full Stack Developer – Node.js, Next.js, Angular, GenAI & RAG (4+ Years)

Responsibilities:

• Design and build the patient-facing web portal using Next.js, covering appointment requests, patient information, and communication with the clinic

• Build and maintain an internal admin/operations console in Angular for clinic staff to manage scheduling, records, and day-to-day workflows

• Develop and maintain Node.js backend services and APIs connecting the front-end applications to clinic data and third-party systems

• Design and implement a RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) pipeline — document ingestion, embeddings, and vector search — to ground the AI assistant in the clinic's own content

• Integrate LLM APIs to power a patient-facing chat assistant and internal knowledge search tool, with attention to accuracy and safe fallback behavior

• Own data handling for patient and clinic information end-to-end, treating security and confidentiality as first-class requirements

• Work directly with clinic leadership to translate operational needs into shipped features as the clinic moves through its opening phase

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience building full stack web applications in JavaScript/TypeScript

• Solid experience with Node.js for backend API development

• Practical experience with both Next.js and Angular — comfortable moving between the two, or strong in one with clear ability to pick up the other quickly

• Hands-on experience building features powered by large language models (GenAI), not just familiarity with the concept

• Experience implementing RAG pipelines — embeddings, vector stores, and retrieval logic — in a real application

• Strong understanding of REST API design and secure handling of sensitive data

• Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE, for an on-site role

Preferred:

• Prior experience building software for healthcare, clinics, or another environment handling sensitive personal data

• Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector

• Experience with prompt engineering and evaluating LLM output quality in production

• Comfort working in a small, early-stage team where priorities shift as the business takes shape

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
