The Role

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to lead an end-to-end redesign of Hyrde's website, working independently and remotely on a milestone basis. You'll own the project from front-end implementation through back-end integration to deployment — translating design mockups into responsive, high-performing layouts, building and integrating APIs, and ensuring the site is fast, secure, and maintainable across browsers and devices.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement front-end interfaces from mockups into responsive, accessible layouts

• Build and integrate back-end services, RESTful APIs, and database connections

• Optimize site performance, security, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility

• Maintain clean, well-documented code

• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and break work into clear milestones

• Deliver incremental updates for review and testing at each milestone

• Manage deployment workflows and recommend improvements to architecture, usability, and maintainability

What You'll Need

• Strong front-end skills: HTML, JavaScript, CSS

• Back-end experience: server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, database integration

• Full-stack ownership mindset — comfortable owning a redesign end-to-end

• Git and modern build/deployment pipeline experience

• Responsive, accessible web design practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and clear written/verbal communication

• Comfort working independently in a remote, contract setting

• Nice to have: performance optimization and security best practices, prior website redesign or landing page work

• A CS degree or related field is a plus, not required
