The successful candidate will work across the full software development lifecycle, including front-end development, C# back-end services, Azure cloud operations, DevOps automation, and SQL Server database administration.

This role requires a versatile developer who can collaborate with technical teams, data scientists, and government stakeholders to translate mission requirements into reliable production solutions. The developer will contribute to application architecture, code quality, automated testing, technical documentation, system performance, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement throughout the development and deployment process.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, ensuring usability, cross-browser compatibility, reliable performance, and comprehensive front-end testing.

  • Develop and maintain scalable C# APIs, services, and server-side components that support secure data processing, transformation, integration, and delivery while incorporating business logic, data validation, authentication, authorization, and required security controls.

  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests, diagnose application defects and performance bottlenecks, and implement improvements across front-end, back-end, cloud, database, and integration environments.

  • Collaborate with data scientists and other technical specialists to integrate analytical models and data-driven capabilities into secure, reliable, production-ready applications.

  • Design, implement, and maintain GitHub Enterprise CI/CD pipelines, source-code repositories, automated testing processes, software configurations, and application deployments.

  • Provision, configure, scale, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud resources; implement infrastructure as code using Azure Resource Manager templates or comparable technologies; and develop serverless applications and automated processes using Azure Functions.

  • Design, develop, and administer SQL Server databases, including tables, stored procedures, views, functions, security controls, backup and recovery processes, performance tuning, query optimization, and index management.

  • Develop and maintain SQL Server Integration Services packages and Azure Data Factory pipelines for data integration, transformation, ETL, and workflow orchestration while documenting application architecture, interfaces, database structures, configurations, and operational procedures.
