Job description
Full-Stack Software Engineer > Infrastructure, AI and Data
OptimaGov, Inc. | Full-Time | Remote | Immediate Hire - To Start Right Away
OptimaGov is seeking a strong Full-Stack Software Engineer with experience across infrastructure, applied AI, and modern frontend development.

-
Troubleshoot and improve systems across the full application stack
-

PHP development experience
-
Python and backend development
-
APIs, databases, and data integrations
-

-
JavaScript / TypeScript
-
React or comparable modern frontend frameworks
-
Production software development and deployment
Why This Role Is Different
You will not be working on a single isolated application feature.
Our engineers work across cloud infrastructure, APIs, financial and operational data, proprietary algorithms, analytics, and AI automation. A project might involve receiving data from an external system, processing and validating it in AWS, making it available to an application, and then allowing an AI agent or automated workflow to securely interact with that data.
The role therefore requires someone who enjoys understanding the entire technical workflow rather than working within only one narrow layer of the stack.
We are looking for an engineer who understands how infrastructure, data, software, AI, and the user experience fit together โ and who can independently build production-ready systems across those layers.
Experience with secure, data-intensive, enterprise, financial, or government technology environments is a plus.
