Job description

StudioBinder builds production management software used by filmmakers, agencies, brands, and creative teams to plan and collaborate on productions, from scheduling and script breakdowns to shot lists, storyboards, and call sheets. We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop and maintain both the front-end and back-end of our platform, working closely with designers and product to turn complex production workflows into intuitive features.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve front-end and back-end features across the platform

  • Translate complex production workflows into intuitive, usable product features

  • Implement new capabilities and debug issues within the application

  • Design and refine API endpoints and adjust database structures as needed

  • Review pull requests and collaborate with the team on implementation approaches

  • Ship clean, maintainable code that supports the needs of production teams

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience building robust, production-grade web applications

  • Full stack development capability across front-end and back-end

  • Proficiency with MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS

  • Solid understanding of application architecture, performance, and security

  • Experience writing documentation and tests for production code

  • Experience working within enterprise compliance and CI pipelines (GitLab CI)

  • An ownership mindset, comfortable taking on complex, ambiguous problems

Nice-to-Haves:

  • AWS infrastructure or cloud-based systems experience

  • AI systems development experience (ComfyUI, Bedrock, OpenSearch, SQS Queues, Terraform)

  • Real-time application or WebSocket experience

  • Background or interest in filmmaking or video production

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
