Practice Nurse
We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our well-established nursing team in a dynamic, friendly, large Group Practice based in Mullingar, Co Westmeath .
This is a permanent position working 3-4 days per week (Monday-Friday) no evenings, weekends or public holidays.
We are an accredited training practice with excellent medical and administrative support. We are fully computerised using Socrates Practice Management System.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
· Chronic Disease Management (CDM)
· Phlebotomy
· Cervical Screening
· Immunisations (infant, covid, flu, pneumococcal)
· Skin and wound care/dressings.
· Cardiology (ECG, Blood pressure monitor)
. Ear Syringing
· General Practice Nurse duties
The right candidate will be registered with An Bord Altranais, enthusiastic, empathetic, and professional, a good communicator who enjoys working as part of a team, and with a flexible approach to work. Previous GP practice experience is preferred, but training can be provided for a suitable candidate
