The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will receive mentoring and practical experience across the design, development, testing and continuous improvement of our industry-leading power generation and lighting products.

This role offers excellent exposure to electrical design, product development, manufacturing and project engineering, making it an ideal position for a graduate eager to accelerate their professional development.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in the design and development of electrical and hydraulic products for lighting towers and power generation equipment

• Support the development of electrical designs, including ComAp/Deep Sea control systems, relays, switchgear, wiring, and cable looms.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of new and existing products

• Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

• Support validation, verification and performance testing activities

• Create and maintain electrical schematics, layouts and manufacturing drawings

• Assist with controller configurations and telemetry system integration

• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

• Work closely with manufacturing, production and quality teams to ensure efficient product delivery

• Assist in investigating product and field issues and contribute to engineering solutions

• Support the preparation of technical documentation and engineering change requests

• Gain exposure to customer and project-specific engineering requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (recent graduate or graduating within the next six months)

• Strong interest in electrical design and product development

• Understanding of electrical systems, controls and automation principles

• Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software during university studies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Eagerness to learn from experienced engineers and develop professionally

• A proactive attitude and genuine passion for engineering

Highly Regarded

• Exposure to control systems or telemetry platforms

• Previous internship, vacation work or engineering project experience

• Experience within manufacturing, assembly or industrial environments
