Job description

Our client is seeking applicants for the role of an Engineer - Electrical. This role would be well suited to a recent graduate looking to develop their skills and build a career in Engineering.

You will play a key support role assisting the Project Engineers and Project Managers to ensure the smooth and safe operation of a major infrastructure project on the Central Coast.

 The role is a contract role through Complete Staff Solutions working with one of our trusted clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Construction and Project teams with day-to-day site operations

  • Support the Senior Construction Manager in resolving site issues and troubleshooting challenges

  • Coordinate contractor activities and monitor adherence to project schedules

  • Ensure all workers and visitors comply with site entry and induction requirements

  • Assist with the management and maintenance of project documentation and schedules

  • Attend contractor and site meetings, supporting effective communication

  • Promote and support strict adherence to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements

  • Assist the Project Team in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures

  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, work performed, and project progress

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and other stakeholders

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will bring a proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in the construction industry.

**Qualifications & Requirements:**

  • Currently undertaking or have completed tertiary studies in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering – Electrical Engineering)

  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence

  • White Card (Construction Induction)

  • Hepatitis A & B immunity (recommended)

Skills & Experience:

  • Work exposure to the construction industry

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to use relevant software and systems, including project management and scheduling tools
