We have an exciting opportunity for a
Graduate Structural Engineer
to join our growing team in Sydney.
About our role:
You will be a key part of our delivery team, contributing to the design and analysis of complex structures on projects in Australia and overseas, while developing your technical and project management skills. Some of the day to day tasks will include:

Structural design, assessments and finite elements analysis using various software

Structural inspection and onsite works supervision in Australia

Embrace and contribute to the Health and Safety culture of the Company

Adopt procedures for standardisation of work products and deliverables, and peer review to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery of the Company’s technical work product
About you:

Distinction or higher Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline

Basic knowledge of Australian Standards and other national and international industry standards

Basic awareness of forms of contract, construction methodologies and civil engineering procedures

Desire to work in a consultancy environment on large scale infrastructure projects

Competent in the use of CAD and MS Office programmes and ability to develop competence in use of proprietary structural analysis programmes to suit specific role requirements

Strong problem solving abilities, analytical and numeracy skills, as well as ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders
