About the Job
Position: Assistant Accountant
Key Responsibilities
• Ledger Management: Record daily cash transactions, sales, and purchase ledgers.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process vendor invoices, issue customer bills, and track payments.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations to find and fix discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing profit and loss statements, trial balances, and monthly management accounts.
Core Requirements & Skills
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting or a similar position.
• Software Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools like Tally.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and basic arithmetic.
• Communication: Good writing and speaking skills to handle vendor and client queries.
Visa Status:
