About the Role

We are seeking a skilled

Cloud Engineer

to join our technology team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimising secure and scalable cloud infrastructure.

You will work closely with software development, DevOps, security, and IT teams to support reliable cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure.

• Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security.

• Implement infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Manage cloud networking, storage, compute, and identity services.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes.

• Identify and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.

• Implement cloud security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance practices.

• Optimise cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency.

• Maintain technical documentation and infrastructure standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration and transformation projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or a related technical role.

• Hands-on experience with

  AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  .

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as

  Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar

  .

• Experience with Linux and/or Windows server environments.

• Understanding of networking, security, IAM, monitoring, and cloud architecture.

• Familiarity with Docker and containerisation technologies.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and modern DevOps practices.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Kubernetes experience.

• Cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Knowledge of cloud security and governance frameworks.

• Experience with cloud migration or large-scale infrastructure projects.
