Hiring: Full-Stack Engineer (CRM / ATS) – Talent Market Intelligence Platform

We are seeking a senior/principal Full-Stack Engineer to help build and evolve Walleye Capital’s Talent Market Intelligence (TMI) Platform into a production-grade internal application.

You will act as an autonomous, founding engineer for this product—designing data models, integrating ATS/CRM systems, implementing granular access controls, and partnering directly with Business Development stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Evolve the prototype into a production-grade web application for interactive market intelligence.

• Build the core CRM repository for investment professionals, candidates, and hires (entity modeling, deduplication, audit trails).

• Build talent maps and hiring-pipeline reporting surfaces.

• Design scalable entity and relationship data models for people, firms, roles, and pipelines.

• Integrate ATS/HRIS platforms (Greenhouse, Workday) via REST APIs and webhooks.

• Implement RBAC / Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) with least-privilege principles.

• Manage PII data, governance, provenance, and compliance requirements.

• Own application hosting, database, backups, observability, and system reliability.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to operate with high individual leverage.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping end-to-end production web applications.

• Strong full-stack proficiency: TypeScript / React (frontend) and TypeScript or Python (backend).

• Strong relational database expertise (PostgreSQL or similar).

• Experience designing data models for entity-centric domains (people, firms, identity resolution, deduplication).

• Hands-on experience implementing RBAC / ABAC access controls and handling sensitive/PII data.

• Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms via REST APIs and webhooks.

• Proven ability to operate autonomously as a sole or founding engineer on an internal product.

• Strong communication skills working directly with non-technical business stakeholders.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hedge fund, private equity, or investment management firm.

• Experience integrating HRIS/ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Workday, Lever).

• Experience building CRM platforms or deep familiarity with CRM schemas.

• Familiarity with Graph data models or entity resolution systems.

• Experience embedding AI/LLM capabilities (smart search, candidate matching, summarization).

• Exposure to GDPR or enterprise data-protection compliance.

Pay: From $90.00 per hour
