Home Care Nurse

We are looking for a female nurse to work for two or more years for a 12-year-old child diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes + 2 elderly parents who are diabetic and have BP (A Permanent contract). It will be 12 hrs shift duty.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be working in a private home

• The nurse will be required to carry out a range of tasks related to patient care as below:

• Vital signs monitoring - blood pressure, pulse rate, resuscitation

• Monitor the Blood sugar level of the patient

• Use of medical equipment as per the doctor’s order

• Prescription/Medicine management and assistance

• Daily nursing documentation monitoring and recording

• Dietary care and advice

• Morning care, personal hygiene, oral care, etc

• Facilitate a range of motion exercises/blood circulation

• Wound care/dressing change (if applicable)

• Escort to medical checkups and special appointments

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living

Desired Candidate Profile

• The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

• Fluent in English

• Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE

• 2-4 years of Middle East Nursing Experience in handling pediatric diabetic patients

• Excellent knowledge of dealing with emergency situations

• Must be compassionate, caring, and have a positive attitude

• Looking for Indians - South Indian preferred

Other Parameter

• Without a DHA license, can be considered

• Direct recruitment from India can be considered

• Employment visa will be provided
