Role Description

This full-time remote HR Assistant / HR Coordinator / HR Administrator role supports BWSUG’s growing community and internal team by managing day-to-day HR operations. Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, coordinating training programs, and helping implement HR policies and procedures. The role will support benefits-related inquiries, assist in organizing staff development and engagement activities, and ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and local labor practices as applicable. The HR professional will act as a key contact for employee relations issues, help streamline HR processes, and collaborate with leadership to foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.

Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge and practical experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management.

  • Skills in Benefits Administration, including supporting enrollment, communication, and basic benefits inquiries.

  • Experience managing Employee Relations, promoting a respectful and inclusive work environment.

  • Ability to understand, apply, and help maintain HR Policies and procedures.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote, multicultural setting.

  • Proficiency with common office and HR tools (e.g., spreadsheets, document management, HRIS or databases).

  • Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

  • Prior experience in an HR support role or in a nonprofit, educational, or tech community environment is an advantage.

  • Relevant education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
