HVAC Estimation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an HVAC Estimation Engineer with relevant experience in HVAC estimation and tendering to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will be responsible for preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, supplier comparisons, and tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review HVAC drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

• Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and detailed cost estimates.

• Estimate materials, equipment, manpower, and installation costs.

• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Prepare accurate and competitive tender submissions.

• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, Procurement, and Projects teams.

• Identify discrepancies, exclusions, and technical requirements in tender documents.

• Prepare quotation and cost comparison sheets.

• Maintain proper records of estimates, quotations, and tender documents.

• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and within deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC estimation, preferably in the UAE.

• Good knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, equipment, and installation methods.

• Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and tender estimation.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.

• Ability to read and understand HVAC drawings and specifications.

• Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

• UAE experience is preferred.

• Candidates available in the UAE and able to join immediately are preferred.
