IB PYP Homeroom Teacher
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | Full-Time | On-Site | Multiple Positions
Multiple IB PYP Homeroom Teacher positions are available at an international school in Riyadh.
Monthly package: SAR 15,491.25, plus Class A medical insurance, annual return flight allowance, visa and Iqama support, and professional development opportunities.
The school is seeking experienced primary educators who can combine strong classroom practice with the inquiry-based, concept-driven approach of the IB Primary Years Programme.
The Role
Teachers will take responsibility for the academic progress and wellbeing of their homeroom students while contributing to collaborative planning and transdisciplinary Units of Inquiry.
The role requires educators who can maintain clear classroom expectations while encouraging curiosity, independence, student agency, and meaningful participation.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver learning within the IB PYP framework.

Develop literacy, numeracy, conceptual understanding, and Approaches to Learning skills.

Contribute to collaborative planning and Units of Inquiry.

Use assessment evidence to monitor progress and adapt teaching.

Differentiate learning to provide appropriate support and challenge.

Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.

Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues.

Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:

A bachelor's degree in Education, Primary Education, Elementary Education, or a closely related field.

A recognised teaching qualification, licence, or professional certification.

At least three years of primary or elementary teaching experience.

Strong classroom management, assessment, and differentiation skills.

Excellent spoken and written English.
Previous IB PYP experience is strongly preferred.
Experienced teachers from British, U.S., or other recognised international curricula may also be considered where they demonstrate strong primary teaching practice and readiness to work within the PYP framework.
Compensation and Benefits
Monthly package: SAR 15,491.25
Basic salary: SAR 11,475
Housing allowance: SAR 2,868.75
Transportation allowance: SAR 1,147.50
