Employment Type: Full-Time | In-Person (Monday - Friday with some evenings and weekends)

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Infant Teacher to support our infant classroom. The ideal candidate will demonstrate warmth, patience, and a genuine passion for working with infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months, depending on classroom placement.
This role focuses on supporting the Lead Teacher in maintaining a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment while assisting with daily routines, caregiving, and classroom activities.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Support: Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom routines and activities.
Child Engagement: Support age-appropriate experiences that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Caregiving Routines: Assist with feeding, diapering, nap routines, and transitions throughout the day.
Relationship Building: Foster positive, caring relationships with children, families, and team members.
Behavior Guidance: Support positive interactions through gentle redirection and responsive caregiving.
Classroom Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Teacher and leadership team to ensure consistency and quality care.
Health & Safety: Provide active supervision, attendance tracking, and ensure a safe environment at all times.
Individualized Infant Care: Follow individualized infant care plans and support children’s developmental needs.

Qualifications
Level 2 PDIS Certificate Required
Willingness to obtain EQUIT / Pyramid Plus
Up to Date on PDIS State Required Trainings
Ability to Pass State Required Background Checks
Experience: Previous experience working with infants preferred
First Aid Certification: Preferred (training may be provided)
Child Development Knowledge: Understanding of infant care and development
Team-Oriented Mindset: Ability to work collaboratively in a classroom setting
