Information Communication Technology Teacher

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Information Communication Technology (ICT) Teacher role based in Doha, Qatar. The ICT Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in information technology and computer science, aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, delivering classroom instruction, assessing student performance, and providing individualized feedback and support. The role involves integrating digital tools into teaching, supervising practical computer lab activities, and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment. The ICT Teacher will also collaborate with colleagues, participate in staff meetings and school events, and contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong teaching competencies, including Qualified Teacher status and proven experience in Lesson Planning.

• Candidates should possess subject-matter expertise in Information Technology and Computer Science.

• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and families.

• Relevant teaching certification or license and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.

• Experience teaching ICT or related subjects at school level, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.

• Ability to use educational technology, learning management systems, and digital tools to support instruction.

• Strong classroom management skills and commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching practices.

• Adaptability to working in Doha, Qatar, with openness to diverse cultures and educational environments.
