Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Information Security Analyst. The analyst will monitor security events, analyze logs, and investigate potential incidents across applications, networks, and infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing vulnerabilities, supporting secure configuration and hardening efforts, and contributing to security controls and policies. The role involves collaborating with engineering and operations teams to remediate risks, documenting findings and recommendations, and assisting with security awareness initiatives. The analyst will also help maintain compliance with relevant security standards and support ongoing improvements to the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with the ability to understand threats, risks, and security controls.
Experience with Application Security, including secure coding concepts, vulnerability identification, and remediation support.
Knowledge of Network Security, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network design principles.
Excellent Analytical Skills for interpreting log data, identifying patterns, and investigating security incidents.
Familiarity with security tools and platforms (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection) is beneficial.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP, or similar) are a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
