Interior Architect

Position Objective:

The Interior Architect will support the technical design team in developing the interior look, feel, and functionality of facilities, ensuring a consistent, professional and contemporary interior environment while maintaining coordination with architectural, MEP, ELV and operational requirements.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Develop the interior design concept, look and feel for operational facilities, offices, meeting rooms and staff areas

• Develop furniture layouts, material specifications, color schemes, finishes, ceilings, flooring, wall visuals and feature elements

• Develop interior layouts, elevations, sections, details and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD, Revit and/or other relevant design tools

• Develop standardized interior design guidelines and details that can be repeated and adapted across multiple facilities

• Coordinate interior design requirements with ARC, CS, MEP, ELV, and other disciplines

• Ensure interior elements do not conflict with access, maintenance clearances, HVAC, fire safety and operational requirements

• Review contractors' and suppliers' material samples, shop drawings and mock-ups against the approved interior design

• Support the engineering team during design reviews, material approvals and site implementation

• Prepare presentation material and 3D renderings to communicate proposed interior concepts to management and stakeholders

Maintain consistency of the visual identity and across different facilities

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture Engineering

• 10 years plus of relevant experience in interior architecture/design

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and preferably Revit

• Good understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and interior detailing

• Ability to coordinate effectively with architectural and other technical disciplines

• Understanding of building codes, accessibility, fire/life-safety and technical-space requirements is an advantage

• Strong presentation, coordination and communication skills

• Arabic & English communication skills, both written and spoken are mandatory

• Saudi/local project experience is a plus

• Knowledge of 3D visualization/rendering tools is a plus
