Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Ajman Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare mood boards, and create detailed layouts that meet project requirements, budget, and local regulations. Daily responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E, and producing drawings and specifications for construction teams. The role involves collaborating closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent is accurately implemented on-site. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, present design proposals, and oversee site visits to monitor progress and quality.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into functional, visually appealing layouts.

• Knowledge of Architecture principles and coordination with multidisciplinary project teams.

• Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation for on-site execution.

• Experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, and finishes that align with design concepts and project budgets.

• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.

• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and familiarity with presentation tools.

• Strong visual communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively on-site, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Understanding of local building codes, materials, and construction practices in the United Arab Emirates is an advantage.
