Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer & Sales role based in Doha, Qatar. The role involves welcoming clients to the showroom, understanding their lifestyle, preferences, and budget, and translating these insights into tailored interior concepts and product selections. The Interior Designer & Sales professional will create mood boards and layout proposals, support basic space planning, and guide clients through furniture, lighting, and accessories options aligned with the brand’s aesthetic. The role includes preparing quotations, closing sales, coordinating with logistics and installation teams, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of projects. The individual will also maintain product knowledge, update showroom displays, collaborate with the design team on larger projects, and contribute to achieving sales targets while providing a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications

Strong Interior Design foundation, with practical experience in residential or commercial interiors and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection and specification.

Proficiency in Space Planning and a basic understanding of Architecture to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts.

Ability to read and prepare Construction Drawings or layout plans sufficient to support design presentations and coordination with relevant teams.

Sales and client-facing skills, including needs analysis, product presentation, upselling and cross-selling, and closing deals in a showroom or design studio environment.

Excellent visual presentation skills, with a good eye for color, materials, and styling, and familiarity with luxury or premium brands.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multicultural environment.

Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client projects and timelines simultaneously.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience in luxury interiors or retail is highly advantageous.
