About Us

Mad Brick Studio is a Dubai-based design studio creating thoughtful, beautifully realized interiors for residential and commercial clients. We're looking for a mid-level Interior Designer who can bring both technical skill and a strong creative eye to our growing team.

The Role

We're looking for someone who can take a project from concept to completion — translating ideas into detailed drawings and immersive 3D visuals, while never losing sight of the bigger picture: a space that looks and feels considered. Software skills matter, but what matters more is taste. We want someone whose instincts for proportion, materiality, color, and light are already strong, and who can back that up with the technical chops to bring it to life.

What You'll Do

• Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes for residential and commercial projects

• Produce accurate 2D drawings, floor plans, and layouts in SketchUp

• Build detailed 3D models and photorealistic renders in 3ds Max (with V-Ray or Corona) to present design concepts to clients

• Source furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that align with each project's aesthetic and budget

• Prepare and present design proposals and concept boards to clients

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure designs are executed faithfully on site

• Stay current with design trends, materials, and industry innovations

• Manage multiple projects at varying stages simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality

What We're Looking For

• A genuinely strong design sensibility — this is the most important thing. We want to see a portfolio that shows a real point of view: confident use of color, texture, scale, and spatial flow

• 2–5 years of professional experience in interior design

• Proficiency in SketchUp for modeling and layout

• Proficiency in 3ds Max for 3D modeling and rendering (V-Ray or Corona experience preferred)

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) is a plus

• Comfortable using AI tools to speed up and enhance the design process — e.g. AI rendering enhancers (Veras, ARKO, Enscape AI), AI image generation for concept/mood exploration (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion), and AI-assisted post-processing of renders in Photoshop

• Solid understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture sourcing

• Strong communication and presentation skills — able to articulate and defend design decisions to clients

• A relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Knowledge of new design trends in the global market.
