Interior Designer Section Head

Job Purpose:

Lead and manage the interior design section to ensure the delivery of high-quality showroom designs aligned with the company’s visual identity, business goals, project timelines, and operational standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the design team and distribute workloads across projects.

• Manage showroom design projects from concept stage until final handover.

• Ensure all designs comply with the company’s display identity and brand guidelines.

• Review and approve layouts, working drawings, presentations, and material selections.

• Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of design packages.

• Ensure full product coverage based on the active products list at the start of each project.

• Support the development and continuous improvement of display standards and design manuals.

• Participate in planning showroom renovation priorities and design strategies.

• Prepare reports, project updates, and performance evaluations for the design team.

• Mentor and develop team members technically and professionally.

• Ensure proper organization and archiving project files and showroom databases.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in interior design.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in interior design, preferably in retail or showroom environments.

• Minimum 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D visualization tools such as V-Ray or Enscape).

• Understanding of sales and marketing principles related to point-of-sale environments.

• Experience working in multi-branch retail environments is preferred.

Language:

Fluency in Arabic and English.
